Siem Riep – Kampong Cham – Angkor Ban

Travel by coach from Siem Reap to Kampong Cham, stopping for lunch before embarking on your Victoria Mekong journey. Meet the crew, settle into your cabin, and enjoy your first sunset on the Mekong River.

Before dinner, discover the cultural significance of the krama, Cambodia’s iconic checked scarf. During an engaging demonstration, learn about its history, symbolism, and many practical uses in everyday Cambodian life.

Begin the day with a walking tour of Angkor Ban, a peaceful riverside village known for its traditional wooden stilt houses and authentic rural character.

After lunch on board, travel by tuk-tuk to Koh Dach, also known as Silk Island. Learn about the complete silk-making process, from silkworm cultivation to weaving, and observe local artisans creating Cambodia’s distinctive silk textiles using traditional looms.

After breakfast, explore Koh Chen on foot and meet local artisans renowned for their intricate copper and silver craftsmanship.

Continue by coach to Oudong, Cambodia’s former royal capital, with a visit to the serene Vipassana Dhura Meditation Centre.

After lunch and some time to relax on board, take part in a hands-on lotus-folding experience and discover the symbolism of the lotus in Southeast Asian culture.

Later, travel by traditional cyclo to Raffles Hotel Le Royal and enjoy a signature cocktail at the renowned Elephant Bar. Return to the ship for dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

This morning, visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, one of Phnom Penh’s most important architectural and cultural landmarks. Admire the palace’s ornate buildings, the Silver Pagoda’s remarkable tiled floor, and its collection of gold and jewel-encrusted Buddha statues.

Continue on foot to the nearby National Museum, an elegant sandstone building housing one of the world’s most significant collections of Khmer art.

After lunch, travel to Choeung Ek, one of Cambodia’s most important memorial sites. Learn about the country’s tragic Khmer Rouge period and pay tribute to those who lost their lives.

Return to the ship for a graceful performance of traditional Khmer Apsara dance, followed by an opportunity to meet the performers. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Begin the day with an exercise session on the Sky Deck as the ship cruises towards the Cambodia–Vietnam border, followed by breakfast.

Spend the morning at leisure with a choice of onboard activities, including a ship tour and mini-golf, or simply relax and enjoy the passing river scenery.

After lunch, the ship enters Vietnamese waters and anchors near Tan Chau. Board a sampan for a leisurely journey through a floating village, offering a respectful glimpse into everyday river life and the region’s traditional freshwater fish farming.

During lunch, the ship continues towards Tiger Island. A short sampan ride brings you ashore for a gentle riverside walk past family-tended rice fields and vegetable gardens.

The visit concludes at Tiger Spirit Temple, where local folklore reveals the story behind the island’s distinctive name.

Return to the ship in the afternoon for a relaxed cocktail competition, followed by evening entertainment on board.

Enjoy breakfast as the ship cruises towards Long Xuyen. Explore the city’s floating market by sampan and meet residents of the floating houses to learn about everyday life on the water.

Return to the ship for lunch while cruising towards Dinh Yen, a village known for its colourful woven mats. Visit a local workshop and observe how the mats are produced using mechanised looms.

Enjoy breakfast at Claypot Restaurant, with time to take in the river views from the pool deck or your private balcony before disembarkation.

Travel by coach to Cai Be, accompanied by your local guide. Lunch is served at the elegant Le Longanier Restaurant, set among lush fruit trees beside the river.
